School Report is back for another action-packed year of making the news with young people around the UK.

With a truly historic summer of huge events fresh in the memory, 2012 was a momentous year - and now it's time to look to the future with students turning themselves into reporters.

Now in its seventh year, School Report has worked with thousands of pupils and schools to tell the stories that matter to young people. And we want to do it all over again in 2012-13!

One of the most important days in the School Report calendar is our annual News Day, which will be on 21 March 2013. All of the hard work you and your students put in will lead up to this day - an exciting opportunity for the young reporters to showcase their newsgathering and reporting skills.
